Ven y cógelo es un slogan histórico usado en la batalla de las Termópilas (480 A.C.) por Leónidas, más tarde en Fort Morris en la Revolución Americana (1778) y por último en la Revolución de Texas (1835).
Come and take it! is a historic slogan, first used in 480 BC in the Battle of Thermopylae and later in 1778 at Fort Morris during the American revolution, and in 1835 during the Texas revolution.

Las nornas viven bajo las raíces del fresno Yggdrasil, el árbol del mundo en el centro del cosmos, donde tejen los tapices de los destinos y riegan el fresno con las aguas y la arcilla provenientes del pozo de Urd para que éste no pierda su verdor ni se pudra. La vida de cada persona es un hilo en su telar, y la longitud de cada cuerda es la duración de la vida de dicha persona.
Beside these three famous Norns, there are many others who appear at a person's birth in order to determine his or her future. In the pre-Christian Norse societies, Norns were thought to have visited newborn children. There were both malevolent and benevolent Norns: the former caused all the malevolent and tragic events in the world while the latter were kind and protective goddesses.
